All-New, All-American Backpacks, from Ex-Patagonia and GORUCK Designers

EVERGOODS has roots in two of the most respected names in outdoor gear: Patagonia, arguably the world’s best-known outdoor brand, and GORUCK, makers of military-grade packs and apparel. Founded by Jack Barely and Kevin Dee, the co-founder of GORUCK and a product engineer at Patagonia, respectively, EVERGOODS launched on Kickstarter just two days ago; within 24 hours, EVERGOODS exceeded its funding goal by nearly $24K. Until they launch a standalone website, EVERGOODS’ two packs are still available for purchase on Kickstarter.

The Civil Panel Loader is a 24-liter versatile commuter pack, with a structural plastic insert, padded laptop compartment, side-access and a fully-opening clamshell design. The Mountain Panel Loader is a 30-liter adventure-ready daypack, with an integrated hip belt, lid pocket, on-the-fly access points and more. Both packs are made of highly weather- and abrasion-resistant nylon, and sport a GORUCK-inspired velcro patch point. By pledging as little as $209, you get one Civil Panel Loader (which will eventually go for $285); by pledging $249, you get one Mountain Panel Loader. Depending on your pledge package and how many you order, the packs will arrive between December 2017 and March 2018.
