If there is one segment of the cycling industry that’s growing faster than the rest, it’s gravel/adventure riding. To cater to this new market, Canyon has released the Grail. And instead of simply tweaking one of its existing road frames, the German brand designed the Grail from the ground up to ride equally well on-road and off. The most interesting feature of the bike is the new handlebar Canyon calls the Hover bar, which is reminiscent of old Scott Drop In handlebars. The idea behind the bar is to provide more flex, therefore dampening the increased bump and chattering that accompanies riding off road. Complete bikes start at $2,299, but can be optioned all the way up to $4,899 for the Grail CF SLX 8.0 Di2.
