Starting at $200, the best cookware maker in the world’s new collection is a re-up of its past copper-bonded steel cookware. The new collection is a four ply (layers) makeup, with a copper base and core and a stainless steel cooking surface.
For the uninitiated, copper is probably the best commercially available heat conductor — meaning it rises and falls to desired temperatures quickly and evenly, giving the cook a more controlled cooking experience. Stainless steel, for its part, is the superior material for searing food and, more importantly, is far more durable than copper.
The new 10-piece collection released today and is available online now.
