Affordable watches and accessories galore
Worn & Wound’s New Online Store Is A One-Stop Shop
If you’re looking for an affordable, quality watch from a microbrand, the good news is that you’re spoiled for options — narrowing down your search from the myriad choices should actually be the most difficult part of the buying process.
Thankfully Worn & Wound, experts on the affordable segment of the watch market and makers of quality watch accessories, has launched a new version of their store, now called the Windup Watch Shop. The shop features an edit of some of the best microbrand watches available, as well as collaboration watches designed exclusively for Worn & Wound and, of course, the company’s own straps, pouches and other accessories.
“In the new Windup Watch Shop, we’ll be showcasing these watches in a way that other marketplaces don’t,” says Worn & Wound Co-Founder and Creative Director, Zach Weiss, “with original lifestyle photography that contextualizes each brand and highlights some of our favorite things about them.”
It’s important to note that many of these watches aren’t available to try on in any traditional brick-and-mortar retail locations — very often, the best way to actually get your hands on one is to attend one of Worn & Wound’s own Windup Watch Fair, held every fall in New York City (and this past spring in San Francisco). If you can’t attend one of the fairs, the next best thing is taking a look through the Windup Watch Shop, which uses detailed descriptions and original photography.
Right now the 11 brands featured in the store include Auteur, Autodromo, Bravur, Brew, Dan Henry, Junghans, Lundis Bleus, Martenero, Raven, Vero, and Vortic, and of course, you can continue to purchase Worn & Wound’s own collection of accessories.
