Satechi's Aluminum Slim Wireless Keyboard

Finally, Apple’s Magic Keyboard Has a Worthy Competitor

We rejoiced when, last year, Apple released the long awaited wireless Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad. Sure, at $129 it’s expensive for a keyboard, but what if we told you that you could pick up a space gray wireless keyboard with a number pad that actually rivals the quality of Apple’s for $54 less?

Satechi’s new Aluminum Slim Wireless Keyboard launched yesterday and retails for just $75. The fonts are nearly identical — the key shape is too. At first glance, you’d be forgiven for thinking it’s an Apple-branded product. It charges via USB-C (and can be used wired that way as well) and can be connected to 4 devices simultaneously. To swap between devices, simply tap one of the four Bluetooth buttons above the number pad. It also comes in two colors, space gray and silver (the non-Slim version of the keyboard comes in gold and rose gold in addition to silver and space gray).

We’ve lauded Satechi‘s ability to create quality accessories and peripherals for Apple products extensively, and the Aluminum Slim Wireless Keyboard hits the nail on the head again.
