Fitbit had announced its newest watch, the Versa 2, following the success of the Versa. The smartwatch has all the same great features the original launched with: 24/7 heart rate tracking, sleep score, water-resistance and 15-plus exercise modes. New for this version? Amazon’s Alexa is built into the Versa 2, so you can ask it anything. Alexa will help you start a workout, find the closest gym, check the weather and control your smart home devices, too.
If you’re looking for more reasons to upgrade, you’ll find the Versa 2 has brighter colors and smoother surfaces for an updated look. The Spotify integration means premium subscribers can save their playlists on the watch and listen on the go. Lastly, the Versa 2 also has a tap and pay option, so you never have to fumble for your subway card again.
It’s available starting September 15 for $200, or $230 for a special edition with a jacquard woven band and switchable classic band.
