Air Jordan XXXIV

Nike Launches One of the Lightest Jordans Ever

September 9, 2019 Sports and Outdoors By

Since 1984, Air Jordans have been among the most popular shoes for recreational and professional athletes alike — plus all those sneakerheads, of course. Keeping that tradition going, Nike dropped the Air Jordan XXXIV at a launch event in Harlem this weekend. Updates include a lighter weight profile and improved traction underfoot. This version of Jordans still include the Eclipse Plate, which helps players jump faster and feel more in control on the court.

Nike got the new shoes in the hands/on the feet of Zion Williamson (New Orleans Pelicans), Blake Griffin (Detroit Pistons), Jayson Tatum (Boston Celtics) and Rui Hachimura (Washington Wizards) to hear what they think about it — and the reviews are overwhelmingly positive. The athletes highlight the feel and sleekness of the shoe.

Shop the shoes when they officially launch on September 25th.
