Only Natty Hues

Kathmandu’s Earthcolors Hoodie Is Both Stylish and Sustainable

October 1, 2019 Briefings By

It’s not news that the clothing industry is one of the most harmful to the planet. But thanks to initiatives like Earthcolours by Kathmandu, you can feel a whole lot better about loading up on new threads. The Earthcolours Men’s Hooded Pullover from Kathmandu was created out of a challenge to create the most sustainable garments it could. Not only is it made from fabric utilizing about 12 recycled plastic bottles, but it also gets its hues from natural dyes made from agricultural waste. Think nutshells, leaves and vegetables — and all the dyes are completely traceable back to their sources near Barcelona. Natural dyes also mean no two hoodies will ever be the same — thanks in no small part to the varying dye lots which make for a unique garment. The Earthcolours Men’s Hooded Pullover is real feel-good gear you should have in your wardrobe.
