Upcycled Vintage

This Upcycled Down Jacket Is Made from Vintage Military Fabrics

December 20, 2019 Style By

For its last release of 2019, premium denim brand 3sixteen has collaborated with Seattle-based outerwear brand Crescent Down Works for one of the most interesting releases of the year.

The co-created Down Shirt Jacket features five ounces of 700 fill power white goose down feathers, a nylon lining, leather-backed snaps, a flapped chest pocket and handwarmer pockets. But the most unique detail of the piece is the shell. Each jacket is cut with varying vintage military fabrics which give it a tonal patchwork effect. The upcycling of these materials means no two are exactly alike, but every jacket will patina beautifully.

The limited release will drop online noon EST as well as in-store in 3sixteen’s LA flagship location.
