If You Like Lodge’s Cast-Iron Skillets, You’re Gonna Love This

For those just getting into cooking with cast iron, there is the cast-iron skillet. For those who can’t get enough of cooking with cast iron, there’s Lodge’s new Fish Pan.

The 21 x 11-inch cast-iron pan was built to cook for a crowd. Plop it down over two stovetop burners or over a fire outdoors, the Fish Pan is good for so, so much for than frying fish — think camp breakfasts with all the sausage and bacon possible, crisping entire sacks of potatoes or browning whole sheet pans of cornbread.

Lodge discontinued the model for a time before updating it and bringing it back — the new version loses the stubby feet on the bottom, drops two pounds of heft and added detachable steel handles for easier carrying. Like all Lodge cast-iron cookware, the new Fish Pan comes pre-seasoned and ready to cook out of the box.
