McIntosh has quietly introduced its first new product of the year: the MA2375.

It’s a high-end integrated amplifier that boasts the brand’s iconic uniform: a high-gloss black faceplate, polished stainless-steel chassis, blue-glowing power meters and a signature green-illuminated logo.

But, most interestingly, MA2375 boasts a number of glowing vacuum tubes. According to the American hi-fi maker, it’s their first vacuum tube integrated amplifier in more than a decade.

McIntosh’s all-new MA2375 is a two-channel integrated amplifier that combines a fully analog vacuum tube preamplifier and a vacuum tube power amplifier into one gorgeous box.

Naturally, it’s designed to deliver a warm, rich and lifelike sound that audiophiles would expect from a premium tube amplifier.

According to the brand, the amplifier is “engineered to provide consistent performance across a wide range of 4, 8, or 16-ohm loudspeakers.”

First in a decade

The MA2375’s power amplifier section features four KT88 output tubes and four 12AT7 driver tubes. And it’s capable of delivering 75 watts per channel.

As for its vacuum tube preamplifier section, that’s powered by two 12AX7A and two 12AT7 preamp tubes.

If you’re counting, that’s 12 vacuum tube amps in all.

McIntosh claims that the MA2375 has been engineered to provide consistent performance across a wide range of loudspeakers, specifically those impedance ratings of 4, 8 and 16 ohms.

And it is decked out with McIntosh’s proprietary Unity Coupled Circuit Output Transformers, which the brand says should help the MA2375 deliver “rich, full-bodied sound through virtually any speakers.”

McIntosh added a few other hidden features to the MA2375. It sports a 5-band analog equalizer, so you can further fine-tune and shape its sound. There’s a built-in headphone amplifier for times when a private listening session is preferred.

Additionally, the MA2375 features a built-in phono stage that supports both moving-coil (MC) and moving-magnetic cartridges. The gain, capacitance and resistance loading are all adjustable, so you ensure the turntable sounds best.

And it boasts six analog inputs, as well as a subwoofer output, which McIntosh claims should make the MA2375 easy to integrate into both traditional and modern setups.

The  MA2375 is available for purchase starting today (June 3).
