Just over one month ago, on March 26, Longines completely revamped its HydroConquest dive watch line, unveiling a new collection boasting an entirely new design, a new movement, a new bracelet, new sizes… the works.
The reception was through the roof, with many reviewers, myself included, hailing the new HydroConquest as the best dive watch in its surprisingly affordable price range.
Now, Longines is already adding to its new collection with a head-turning special edition that’s my favorite version of the young diver line so far.

Games changer
The new special edition HydroConquest was made to celebrate Longines’ role as the official timekeeper for the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, a relationship that dates back to 1962.
In case you’re unfamiliar with the Commonwealth Games, they’re kind of like the Olympics in that they’re a multinational competition held across a variety of sports every four years. But unlike the Olympics, the participants are all from former and current British territories that belong to the Commonwealth of Nations. Think England, Canada, Australia, India… you get the idea.
